Independent Informal Dispute Resolution (IIDR)
MPRO contracts with state agencies to provide Independent Informal Dispute Resolution (IIDR) for skilled nursing facilities to dispute citations received as a result of the state survey process. MPRO's approach to IIDR is characterized by a rigorous decision making process, expertly trained reviewers, quality reviews, continuous training and timeliness. Each of these key components contributes to the quality of the review decision outcome.

Charlene Kawchak-Belitsky is the director of Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) services and leads the management of IDR services in all contracted states.

Melody Petrul, R.N.
Melody Petrul is the director of Medical Review Services and oversees MPRO’s Medicaid fee-for-service (FFS) review contract and all independent review services, including internal and external appeals, Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) and Independent Informal Dispute Resolution (IIDR) services. Ms. Petrul has received specialized training in critical care and in the LEAN Six Sigma approach.
