Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) & Independent Informal Dispute Resolution (IIDR)

MPRO contracts with state agencies to provide Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) and Independent Informal Dispute Resolution (IIDR) for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) and Home Health Agencies (HHA) to dispute citations received as a result of the survey process.

MPRO's approach to IDR and IIDR is characterized by a rigorous decision making process, expertly trained reviewers, quality reviews, continuous training and timeliness. Each of these key components contributes to the quality of the review decision outcome. MPRO's program is unique in that it incorporates a quality review mechanism to IDR and IIDR that allows decisions to be continuously monitored. MPRO currently works with a diversity of states.
