Statewide Healthcare Organization Donates to Needy Children
Farmington Hills, MI April 12, 2006 - Farmington Hills based MPRO, Michigan’s Healthcare Quality Improvement Organization, has been honored for donating children’s clothing, school supplies, and camp needs to the Doorstep Homeless Shelter in Highland Park, Michigan.
With a staff of more than 100, mostly comprised of nurses, MPRO gathered new school supplies and clothing in addition to camp items for children ages 9 to 16 at the shelter. “This is a small effort on our part but it’s rewarding to know as cliché as it sounds, every little bit helps,” said Teri Aldini, project manager and coordinator of this community outreach effort.
A non-profit organization, MPRO works with providers across the state of Michigan to improve the quality and safety of healthcare.
