MPRO's Online Self-Instructional Module Process

There are three steps to MPRO's Online Self-Instructional Module (SIM) Process:

• Create a free CE account
• Complete the Self-Instructional Module (SIM) requirements (post test and evaluation)
• Print or save your certificate (a pdf file created online when you complete all requirements)

Create your Account

CE accounts are free and take moments to create. To create an account, you must have a unique e-mail address. If you do not have an e-mail address, you can create a free e-mail address online. To create a FREE CE account:

1. Go to the Account Creation Screen and fill out all the fields. Type your first and last name exactly as you want it to appear on your certificate.
2. The CE System will immediately e-mail you to confirm your e-mail address. If you do not receive an e-mail within 5 minutes
   1. Check with your IT department to see if a spam filter caught the verification e-mail or
   2. E-mail MPRO's webmaster with your first name, last name and e-mail address. We'll manually check the account, confirm it, and e-mail you back.
3. After the e-mail arrives, click on the e-mail link provided to confirm your identity.
4. The link takes you to a Web page that says "Thanks, your name, Registration is been confirmed"
5. Once you have created your free account, return to the list of SIMs and pick the area you would like to work on.

Complete the SIM Requirements

1. Read the education packet by downloading the Adobe Acrobat file (pdf) or PowerPoint files (ppt). If you open either of these files through your browser, you may need to click the back button twice to return to the normal Continuing Education Web site.
2. Complete the Post Test - This is an online form that asks you questions about the material in the education packet. You can take the test as many times as needed to pass. The passing grade will be found in the education packet and on the main Web page of each SIM.
3. Complete the Evaluation - This is an online form by which you evaluate the objectives of the SIM. You can only fill out the evaluation once. You must complete the Post Test before you can complete the Evaluation.

Print or Save your Certificate

As you complete the requirements of the SIM, the CE System will unlock the next step for you. Two checkmarks are required for the certificate to unlock (one each for the Post Test and Evaluation). This is shown by a green checkmark. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required for the certificate to show on your screen. You can download Acrobat Reader for free. To print the certificate:

1. Click on the link that says "Certificate - xxxxx"
2. Depending on the configuration of your browser, the certificate will open in your browser or be saved to your computer.
3. If the certificate opens in your browser, print it or save it as desired. If the certificate is saved to your computer, go to your desktop, find the downloaded file, open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader and print as desired.

Problems

Should you have any problems with the online CE process, please e-mail MPRO's webmaster with your first name, last name, e-mail address, and the name of the SIM that you are trying to complete.
