Biography

Janice M. Whitehouse, BA, MBA, currently serves as Senior Vice President with the Greater Detroit Area Health Council (GDAHC) where she directs the Save Lives Save Dollars initiative (SLSD).

Prior to joining GDAHC, Whitehouse was the President of CyberMichigan, an institute within the nonprofit Altarum Institute in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this capacity she focused on developing and applying information and communication technologies to improve the health and entrepreneurial achievements of Michigan citizens.

Ms. Whitehouse worked at General Motors Corporation now known as General Motors Company for more than 25 years. Her most recent appointment at GM was Director of Community Health Care Initiatives. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
