Biography
Helen L. Hill, BA, brings extensive health information technology and health information exchange knowledge and expertise to the MPRO Board of Directors. She is Director of IT Consulting at Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) in Detroit, MI for Covansys, a CSC Company, a leading global consulting and technology services company that specializes in strategic outsourcing and integration services in the healthcare, financial services, retail and distribution, manufacturing, telecommunications and high-tech industries.
In addition, Ms. Hill is Chair of the Southeast Michigan Health Information Exchange (SEMHIE) Initial Governance Committee, co-chair of SEMHIE’s Functional/Technical Design Work Group and Program Manager for the Michigan Data Sharing Transaction Interface (MI-DSTI) pilot project, one of six national GSA / HIMSS e-Authentication pilot projects. An active participant in workgroups for the State of Michigan’s RHIO (MiHIN), Ms. Hill works closely with the State’s HIE Resource Center and the other six HIEs. Ms. Hill has been instrumental in developing and leading several professional and civic organizations. She is currently President of M-Women, an Ann Arbor based non-profit dedicated to raising funds for University of Michigan women’s athletics.
Ms. Hill has a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.
