Experienced Reviewers

MPRO’s experienced team conducts reviews using qualified clinical physician and nurse experts. MPRO ensures integrity and promotes the highest standards of quality and excellence within its review activities by incorporating quality improvement principles into the review process. We internally audit all review decisions to ensure timeliness, accuracy, consistency, and reliability of MPRO’s review activities.

MPRO has over 150 expert physician/clinician reviewers representing most medical specialties and geographic areas of practice. Our network also includes ancillary clinical experts such as dentists, podiatrists, pharmacists, etc. A number of our expert physician reviewers are also certified by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP).

MPRO’s nursing review staff has an average of ten years of review experience; medical coders have an average of 10 years; and review managers have an average of 15 years of review experience.
