QualityNet Overview
Established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the QualityNet website (http://www.qualitynet.org) provides healthcare quality improvement news, resources and data reporting tools and applications used by healthcare providers. The website has both secure and non-secure access. My QualityNet is the secure access site and is password-protected. Hospitals and vendors use My QualityNet to submit and review individual hospital data. QualityNet is the public access site which is not password protected. It is the most comprehensive resource regarding the complex (and routinely updated) specifications related to Medicare's hospital quality measures.
