What is the B-SAFE Campaign?

MPRO: Michigan's Quality Improvement Organization has partnered with Saint Joseph Mercy Health System to create the B-SAFE campaign - a community health care collaborative aimed at improving prescription drug safety for patients who are prescribed Coumadin® or generic warfarin and are on anticoagulant therapy.

B-SAFE aims to educate patients on Coumadin® or generic warfarin about the risk of serious drug-to-drug interactions and adverse side effects that can occur while on these medications.

What does it mean to B-SAFE?

B-SAFE helps ensure that you are taking your Coumadin® or warfarin in the safest, most effective manner.
